Work on the front entry planters is ongoing. These repairs were necessary. In prior years, the wood cladding was added to hide the damage to the planter box walls.   The planter walls are being rebuilt with concrete and proper waterproofing and root barrier.   The facade will be finished with a concrete skim coat until additional funds are available for a decorative stone or stucco application.

Happy New Year! The River's Bend Board of Directors would like to highlight everything that we've accomplished in 2024.  We're looking forward to a positive and productive 2025!  Thank you everyone for your support!

• Conducted roof inspection and signed a roof maintenance agreement to extend the life of the coal tar pitch roof.

• Cleaned entire roof deck of debris. Sealed all areas around perimeter of roof including roof vents and air stacks. Cleaned out gravel from roof drains.

• Established a new fining committee in accordance with 2024 Florida statutes 718.303(3)(b).

• Created Free Online Parking Registration Form and new QR Code Signs for parking lot.

• Created community website to meet new Florida Statute requirement under Section 718.111(12)(g)1.

• Completed the Structural Integrity Review Assessment & Reserve Study to prepare the association financially for future maintenance and repairs, ensuring the safety and structural integrity of the building.

• Rebuilt the dock using existing pilings and new decking material and extended deck from raised seawall cap to the pool gate.

• Raised and capped the seawall ahead of schedule to meet future height requirements due to sea level rise.

• Renovated and retiled the men’s bathroom and made ADA compliant.

• Cleared up City Violations from 2017 stemming from an elevator permit never closed and paid; obtained new fire safety certificate and brought all up to date and in compliance.
